I recently got some Trophy Bonded Sledgehammer FMJs for use in a 470 NE. I notice the color is similar to the Nosler Solid, which I have read is tough on the bore and the fouling is very difficult to remove. The Trophys resemble the Nosler more than other brand jackets, so I'm wondering if anyone has experience with them and if they have presented any problems in their use.

The Trophy Bonded Sledgehammers that I have are not banded, however they don't appear to quite as much bronze as the Nosler. Pictured are a Hornady DGX, Trophy Bonded Sledgehammer & Nosler Solid. Base diameters are .4738"; .4738"; .4733". Not sure if the Trophy bullet shown in the previous posting is mono-metal. the one I have is lead core. In looking at the picture I got the order wrong: they are Hornady, Nosler & Trophy. The Nosler is .4733". the other two are .4738".

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
