Travelling within RSA with guns

I suggest you ask your outfitter or travel agent since things are constantly changing. Actually you should ask both to confirm they have the same answer.

I second Airlink, and using a Safari specfic travel agency. I used airlink in April for the exact flight you are looking for. They handled my firearms with no problems. One thing to note is that they charge on each flight to transport. It was like 60-80 dollars depending on the weight of your firearms. Also note that they require you to take your ammo case out of your checked bag from the international flight and check it in seperate. make sure your ammo is in a sturdy lockable case. (Like a pelican case). No hard just another process of getting you there and home .

Airlink and Safair carry firearms within South Africa. Personally, I thought Safair was the better of the two.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
