Good day,
My husband is going to Tanzania for a year and would like to take is traditional bow with him. Does anyone know if he is allowed to bring the bow into the country? Does he need any permissions or licenses?
Its his hobby back home and he would like to keep praciticing in his backyard

The information below would be for a temporary importation but you will still find some valuable information. I would recommend that you contact the Tanzanian Embassy to find out the formalities of such import.

Refer to the following thread: TANZANIA Hunting Information: https://www.africahunting.com/threads/tanzania-hunting-information.14227/ and check out the section called Bowhunting in Tanzania & Importation of Bows & Arrows into Tanzania

Refer also to the following threads:

Hi Jon,
I saw your post for the .500 NE cases. Are these all brass or are they nickel plated? Hard for me to tell... sorry.
Thanks,
