Travel to Europe from America W Rifle

Hi all - I'm hunting the Carpathians in late October and would appreciate any information about traveling with a rifle and ammo to Timisoara, Romania. I will fly out of Atlanta. I reached out to our resident AH travel agency but would much appreciate hearing from those who have hunted Romania about their experience traveling with a rifle. I've got the invite letter from my outfitter, but I'm not sure what else is needed. Thanks all / Rimbaud.

Go on the web and search for taking guns to Romania and follow the instructions. No matter the country though, the proof of gun ownership/registration that is required from all countries for US citizens to hunt is the CBP 4457 form. You can download it from the US Customs and Border Protection website. Just follow the instructions.
