A beautiful morning to sit for geese. We are waiting for the first flight of the day. Pre scouted. We are 300 yards from their loafing water.

Nice looking SxS - Parker?

Curious how that blind works. We always use layouts in a cut field.

Yes sir. Parker DH on a number 1 frame

Well we don’t know yet how the blind will work in this spot.

They are not flying yet. More to come.
Didn't realize real time play-by-play. Good luck!

Yeah me posting a live hunt is not a good sign. Maybe I should have gone bow hunting deer this AM

Those panel blinds are awesome as long as they are combined with local cover AND no one is looking up as they circle. Goose hunting is a lot of fun and kind of feast or famine. Good luck!

We have had two large groups so far. One group landed too far away. The other went back to the water. The majority are still loafing

400 geese have been feeding in this corn field for 4 straight days. Today, they flew a couple hundred yards north to a cut bean field.

So I think we are about to call it a bust. This groups first skunk of the year.

Yea all you can hope for is the pattern holding. I'm convinced they don't know what they want until it happens. One bird can pull the whole mob.

It was a strange morning, they were coming and going from the water all morning. The first group coming off the water immediately went north we needed them to come south. the only group to come our way did land but just out of range.

I didn’t feel like cleaning any anyway

Last scheduled goose hunt this year for me is next Friday. The others are headed to Kansas and Texas tomorrow for geese.

Good Morning x84958
I have read your post about Jamy Traut and your hunt in Caprivi. I am planning such a hunt for 2026, Oct with Jamy.
Just a question , because I will combine Caprivi and Panorama for PG, is the daily rate the same the week long, I mean the one for Caprivi or when in Panorama it will be a PG rate ?
thank you and congrats for your story.
Best regards
Philippe from France
