I was surprised to learn that Roan is a bigger animal. I had never really thought of hunting one but when I saw it in person I was very impressed with the animal. First animal I took with my 475 No 2 Double. I stalked up to it close and shot it off-hand. Really happy to have taken it.

While Roan are beautiful animals I am always shocked at their price so very much more expensive than other animals
