The ballistic turret on one of my Swarovski scopes lost the ability to screw on and off. It was apparent that a small piece of plastic had broken causing the issue. Called the 1-800 number which I found on their website. Ronny O was super helpful.
There was a problem because I had bought this used and the seller had not notified Swarovski. I didn’t even have the guys name and the sale was in 2018. Ronny was able to contact the guy on their registration and he was helpful and honest. So in under 24 hours we have registered the scope in my name and it is sent according to Swarovski per their packing instructions, so we will see how they do.

This thread is about their warranty and service, not the brand name or the product-but I know how this will go and so will pre empt. I own two of this exact model scope and purely love them. One is on my .300 wm and the other which broke on my 28 Nosler. I have custom turrets for both and the .300 has served me and my brother well in South Africa. I was in the process of doing load work up for a different bullet in the 28 N when the issue occurred. It was extremely functional with the original load but I want to use a different bullet this year and thus have been messing with the current turret incessantly.
The scope is a 3.5-18x44 P. The original turret and the custom one I have been using are made to order by Swarovski. I paid the guy $700 or $750 used, and it has been flawless until now.
I was impressed with the registration records and very happy with Ronny and the swiftness with which the problem was correctly resolved!

Rem 280, good thing you happened to find those pigs to rest your rifle on for a picture. It would have been in the water.

What’s the odds that they would be laying right where you wanted to take a picture of your rifle.

Three hogs with one shot!
I've done two deer with one.
What ammo?
Good to hear about Swarovski CS.

It is nice when the companies we use actually have good customer service and warranties. Seems to be rare these days.

The customer service and warranty compliance here in the UK for Swarvoski is first class. It is for ten years. For devices with electronic components (i.e. range finding binoculars) those elements are only five years.
Although I think Swaro is the finest glass if I was buying RF again I would look at the likes of Vortex, Leupold etc purely because of their lifetime warranty.

I’ve never had to use Swaro CS for a repair, but I have used them twice to change out reticles. In both cases they were outstanding.

Received an email this morning that they have received my scope and would begin the inspection process-it’s a long e mail filled with FAQ and timeline information. Fingers crossed for a short turnaround and hope for an easy repair.

The repaired scope arrived via fed ex today. Luckily I was home to sign and accept. Paperwork enclosed tells what part was replaced and informs of a BT upgrade to the Steal Stop base. Also a list of other “checks” that were performed. Was pleased with the service. Got the scope back in the bases and while there is a summer monsoon cold front, I will go shoot it tomorrow morning.
Overall a good experience!

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
