So my brothers son Charlie, my name sake, just took his first Bull Elk in New Mexico! I couldn’t be more proud of a tough and tenacious 11yo! Congrats to Charlie!!!

Well Charlie has done it again! After looking over several herds of Orxy for several days he and his father, my brother Daniel, closed in on one they liked. Rained hard yesterday and they didn’t have much luck, even though they were out in the rain all day putting a lot of miles on their shoes…
Second day the weather cleared and well, Charlie just took this 34” Bull Oryx today! One shot at 680yrds with a 300WBY and Charlie had his Oryx!
So proud of the kid, he’s making me look bad lol
