The classic “Defender” reincarnated

Complaints like this are what killed the purpose built 4x4s we once had and gave us the poor selection we have today.
No reason a $90K modern truck can't be good on and off road. My old 200 Series Landcruiser, Mitsu Pajero and current Tacoma TRD Pro are/were all great on and off road.
 
Cars and trucks have gotten ridiculously expensive…

Did Landrover stop their anti hunting policy yet ? There was a huge uproar about it some years ago. Some posts in here also

It will always be a compromise one way or another. If you want the best either way the other will suffer. For most people they would rather it drive nice on the highway. Every little change over 50 years has turned dedicated off road 4x4s into highway rigs that are also 4x4.

may I suggest Intaba Safaris in the East Cape by Port Elizabeth, Eugene is a great guy, 2 of us will be there April 6th to April 14th. he does cull hunts(that's what I am doing) and if you go to his web site he is and offering daily fees of 200.00 and good cull prices. Thanks Jim
