Just uncrated the 2016 memories from last year's East Cape hunt. Paul, Relive Taxidermy in Port Elizabeth did a great job again on my trophies. 29 1/2 in blue wildebeast, and 5 inch Duiker look great, euro on two kudu, an impala, springbok, duiker, steenbok, and gemsbok turned out fantastic. The packing and wrapping on the euros is the best, crating is superb with everything arriving in perfect condition. RexFreight in port Elizabeth handled the freight forwarding thru SAA and Michael at Coppersmith in Chicago took charge of everything and delivered to my door. Can not speak highly enough of the way the shipment was expedited by all involved with Zero effort or concern on my part. Fees from Coppersmith and shipping and fees from Port Elizabeth were very reasonable, interesting and convenient that all charges....Rex Freight, SAA air freight, and the small fee to Coppersmith are all handled with one total payment to Coppersmith..no wire transfer or hassle to or for any charges emanating from SA. This is my third shipment of taxidermy out of SA and I have been very fortunate that all has been perfect. The blue wildebeast shows as a monster of a bull in the way the wall mount came out, could not be more pleased with the results.

Glad to hear everything went well. I used Rex Freight and Coppersmith and you are spot on about the good service and the convience of making just one payment to Coppersmith is safe and easy.

HOWEVER..........we need to see some PHOTOS of your critters! :)

Sounds exciting, its like Christmas morning!

Glad to hear your trophies from Relive taxidermy came out well. Wish I had a better experience with them. Photos please!

Lets see some pictures please. You seem to be happy with all you have recieved.

Will post photos ASAP...somewhat above my pay grade, but will try.

Oh man, pics please! I'm looking at every new taxidermy thread trying to keep myself entertained until my crate gets here in 5 or 6 months. I did the opposite of you- shoulder mount on kudu and euro for the bluey.

Congrats. Look forward to you sharing some pictures.

Congrats! Can't wait to see the pictures!

Please post your pictures as we all enjoy them and no story is complete without pictures.

Hope these come thru...my first,,,and could be my last attempt at posting photos.

There they are, thanks for sharing! Looks like you got a stud of a wildebeest!

I am challenged regarding photo skills,,,they look much better than the photos

Nice trophies! great memories and a super wide wildebeest! Congrats

They look good and you must be happy to have them hanging up. That is a super blue wildebeest you took and one that will be hard to top.

Pics look great to me. Post some of the euro mounts too if you don't mind. I've got some of those coming and I'd sure like to see yours.

Bill, think I will stop on the blue wildebeast while I am ahead, just can not imagine topping that one, anyway I have no wall space for another one...he was 29 3/4 and outshines the other one that I have that is 281/4.....gotta stop somewhere. I got really lucky on that one, almost dusk, last day, one shot and 40 yds later on the ground, watched them for twenty minutes to get in position for the shot......East Cape 2016
