Thought I would bring it to the forum's attention (since I partially blame this forum for soon to be mentioned purchase) that Cabela's stores have marked down the CL 8x30 to $863.00. Website still has them listed at $1079.00. This was the Fort Mill, SC location.....but they said they were on sale in the stores. This was yesterday. So, I dove in.....they are awesome.

Yes, early in the planning process...but that is the goal. These will, unfortunately, only be used for Deer, Bear and general snooping this year.
 
Sounds like a fun fall of breaking them in!

Start in Billings, Then visit little big horn battlefield,
MT grizzly encounter,
a hot springs (do you have good spots ?)
Looking to buy a 375 H&H or .416 Rem Mag if anyone has anything they want to let go of
