Well I am probably going to regret this decision. Up for grabs is a Swarovski 1X6 EE. It does have some scope ring marks. I think they could be covered easily by the new rings or the markers made for aluminum. Glass is perfect, I just wanted to make sure who buys it knows what they are getting. Asking 2250 shipped. Not really interested in trades unless you have a RH25 thermal then we can have a conversation.

One of the best DG scopes EVER made. I rarely seem them come up for sale. It won't last long.

Can't blame you for keeping it! I almost never see them trade hands.

Yes sir i'm fortunate enough to have two, this one and an illuminated one. Think I'm going to play the buy the rifle for the scope game haha. We will see how that goes, either way I have been second guessing my decision. I'm going to trust my gut on this and keep it. It's unfortunate that they do not make these any more. Knowing that was making it hard to part with. I called Swarovski today and asked if I could have it recoated (I told them in advance it is your error and I expect to be charged). They said not a problem and sent me the email to get it to them. That was all I needed to hear from them. So off to Swarovski to get freshened up.

The last few years I have built my hunting battery around more of an illuminated reticle optic....with very good results. It's been the right move for me and I have taken some really nice animals early and late in the day.

same with me. taking my Swaro Z5i for my leopard. really like it
I wouldn't even think of a leopard hunt without an illuminated reticle. It could really make the difference on the one shot you MIGHT get. When you get there, test your reticle brightness too as you don't want to be jacking around when the cat is in the tree. Check your focus/parallax, illumination, scope power...everything! We even took the safety off and had it in the tripod focused where the cat would be standing. Pre-planning is everything as you know.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
