Hello, I bought a Springfield M1A Loaded with national match sights, walnut stock, and carbon wrapped barrel a little over year ago.

Pics attached, rifle is very close to new condition, with a very few minor handling scuffs and a tiny bit of wear from use at the range.

My friend who is a better shot than me hit steel with it at about 900 yards with it the other day.

I enjoyed shooting it for awhile.....but I'm getting into advanced middle-age and my eyes don't do so well trying to hit far away targets with iron sights anymore, and so rather than trying to add a scope to this M1A, I would like to sell it or trade it.

Probably has a total of just a few hundred rounds total through it, all factory .308, I'd estimate less than 500 rounds total.

I'm offering the rifle, 3 magazines (two 10 rounders, and one 20 rounder), the sling, and the Springfield M1A soft case the rifle came with along with the owners' manual, everything together for $1,500 plus shipping or best offer.

Though I guess if you don't live in a free state you can't get the 20 round magazine, just the two 10 round ones.

I live in Las Vegas, NV if you are interested in meeting up at a range to test shoot it. Nevada law requires firearms sales to go through an FFL and have a background check, so regardless of which state you live in the sale/trade will need to go through an FFL.

I'd consider trading it for any traditional looking "safari rifle" like a Ruger African or Winchester Model 70 in an appropriate caliber/cartridge. Also be interested in a Browning BAR of any caliber. I'd also be interested in a Ruger Precision Rifle of any centerfire caliber. I'd also be interested in a true hand cannon, like a Desert Eagle 50 AE, or SW 500 Magnum, and especially a SW .460 XVR.

I'd also be interested in trading for a good 12 gauge o/u, either like a Browning Citori or Berretta Silver Pigeon.

Let me know if you have any questions. Also, though I am in no rush to sell, feel free to make a counter-offer lower than the starting price, I am posting on a few different websites and putting up some fliers at the local ranges, I will ultimately sell to whoever offers the most, unless someone has a good trade in which case I'd be happy to trade.

If you are interested in trading, feel free to let me know what you want to trade even if it is not something I listed above.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
