Members , my apologies, I now received a lot of telephone calls from members/friends telling me I am sending them e-mails with requests for help...please..this is spam you received, I did wipe my cellphone memory to stop it..I suspect my e-mail address is hacked on my cell phone...I even received e-mails from a member in England letting me know he received such an e-mail. I do have Jerome`s permission to post this here..please if you receive any e-mail from my e-mail address asking assistance for another person..know it is SPAM, delete and block the e-mail...I would never send such an e-mail since I will never borrow someone money or assist anyone in this regard...I will upload an example of what this SPAM is about..I am just waiting for a member to send it through to me....

Thank you for your swift response to my email, i am happy to hear from you. Actually, the reason why i asked you to call me is because i need a favor from you and i thought it is appropriate that i ask you on the phone as courtesy demands. Susara tripped and fell down from Westfield Mall stairs yesterday and was rushed to the hospital by paramedics. Her X-ray and CT scan shows that she fractured her spine (vertebral segment) and would require a spinal fusion surgery before she will be able to walk again. The hospital is demanding for a deposit of £2000 for the surgery and our medical insurance will cover rest of the bill for her broken leg and head injury. I don't have that kind of liquid funds now, so am wondering if you can loan it to me. I will pay back as soon as bank liquidate my FD account and make funds available to me.

I am so sorry Gert, but my extra money is tied up with Pawprint Safaris for my son and my first safari to South Africa in July. One possible suggestion is to place a request on the Africa Hunting site where members could donate smaller amounts and have one of the members figure out how to send it to you. I don't personally know anyone that could or would send you about $2500 all by himself.

Its a pretty common scam.

Somebody hacked my bosses email contacts, and I received an email from him claiming he was stranded in the Phillipines, and needed $1700 to get home.

Not this one, this person got my wife`s birth name and know I live in a province, Mpumalanga , South Africa, I suspect this person got hold of some personal info /administrative info regarding my wife , since we use my e-mail address only...he also know a member on this forum who I previously had send an e-mail ....

Thank you Brickburn, I really appreciate it ...yes, this is why I posted it on the forum...so the members will expect it and act accordingly....not to open it ..delete immediately please.. I will never send a member an e-mail asking for assistance..I handle all my problems myself, my dear mother did not raised a scared child..nothing in life is so bad I can not handle it...I sort out my own problems...

Thank you kindly Martin, your best wishes is appreciated..this SPAM issue is really creating a lot of difficulties..I am currently changing all my pass words and deleted a few downloads on my laptop as well..I am sure I will sort out this issue....as long as this issue do not have dire consequences for any member on this forum I will be happy to see the end of this SPAM issue...

Members, it seems I managed to get rid of this SPAM e-mail thing..with the assistance of my son Ruan, the youth really are extremely knowledgeable...If I do not receive any more notices regarding the SPAM e-mail then I will be sure it is removed from my laptop....
