There are two main preserves that border Kruger national Park together they are about 300,000 acres. This fence was taken down many years ago, so it’s all open range.

I just got back from an amazing free range buffalo hunt in South Africa. My wife and I hunted with Ernest Dyason and @Spear Safaris in the Greater Krueger area, where I was able to harvest 3 buffalo with my .500 NE double rifle (first for me with double) and my wife shot her first buffalo with a .375 H and H. All of these bulls were set 12 plus years old and we saw tons of buffalo. They ranged in size from right at 36 inches to a whopping 44.5 inch bull! If you are interested in hunting Greater Krueger or other countries like Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Botswana and the list goes on, get with Ernest you won't be disappointed.
