Just recently got back from a hunt in the Limpopo with @MORETLA SAFARIS (I only know that it was the Limpopo because they told me where I was)and had one of those "hunt of my life" experiences.Hunted with the Moretla mob, bagged a Sable after almost 3 days of failed walk and stalks.Lots of frustration....big hunting learning stuff....biggest learn....patience.Bagged a Red Hartebeest,an Impala and the most beautiful(but not medal winning)Oryx ever did you see.Much to my personal shame, terribly took a shot on a Zebra..and on another day...completely missed a Blue Wildebeest,I (talk to my lawyer if you say something like"they don`t have access to cell phone towers, they don`t have the technology) believe the Zebra and Blue Wildebeest were in cahoots and contacted each other with the African Wildlife network via critter Instagram.Anyways, just wanted to share my hunt. You married?Get divorced. You have a mortgage?sell and rent.Africa is our God...you MUST come hunting.Thank you for your patience.

Couldn`t agree more.Would like to give a shout out to Moretla Safaris...treated my whiny excuse making arse with the most tolerable of attitudes.

Congrats on the hunt! Got any pictures?

Congrats on the hunt and glad to have another person with the addiction share part of the experience. So when are you going back?

The Limpopo area is very game rich. I too have hunted near Alldays and almost as far west as you can get in Limpopo province. It’s a huge province!
I’d like to see some pictures if you took any?

Any pictures of your Sable?

Congratulations on a successful hunt.

Have another hunt lined up in late June, early July on the Eastern Cape. Not looking forward to the long flight....then again...I should stop being a whinger and concentrate on the critters.

Also,we went to a concession that had the finest of Kudu.I had a choice....the prettiest of Kudu(look so nice as a mount)...or a broken horn old bad tempered bastard.....I`ll leave it to you work out which one I took.

Allow I to tell you a story. As you know,1 PH per client isn`t cheap.I had 3 on the vehicle,1 driving and 2 on the back with me.I of course, was a whiny great girl..."it`s hot....why is the sun shining so?"The driving PH showed me some sympathy and gave me some sunscreen....however...one of the PH`s on the back said "your lucky...if it was one us...we would feed you to the leopards"....I of course was outraged...and then I remembered were I was...and immediately shut my fat whiny mouth.

I hunted elephant with Luke Samaris in 2005. It was my fourth safari and I tell you he is a fine gentleman the best. I got the opportunity to meet Patty Curtis, although never hunted with him but enjoyed our conversation around our tent in the Selous. Very sad for a tough guy to leave this world the way he did. Let’s pray the murderers are caught. I hope to see Luke in Nashville.
