SOUTH AFRICA: Greg Returns To Hunt & Shark Cage Dive With Karoo Wild Safaris

Greg returned to hunt and shark cage dive with us this past week. He and good friend Jason hunted with us in 2018 and they hunted a number of plains game animals. This year, Greg and I hunted a few other animals including a gemsbok which eluded us last year. Although it was full moon, the hunting was terrific. We hiked quite far for the mountain reedbuck, gemsbuck and zebra and our physical efforts were rewarded with some good trophies. We spent two days / night at our apartment in Plettenberg Bay where we dived with great white sharks and dined at the Deck on Lookout Beach. The next morning we went on a deep sea fishing charter. The sea was a bit rough but we managed to catch some hake and gernurd fish which we prepared at the apartment that evening. The package Greg booked is our 8 night / 7 full day Shark Cage Dive / Hunt package and it's a super way to hunt and experience some of the Eastern and Western Cape's bush and coastal regions.
