Not a big internet poster, but I'll give it a try:
Recently completed my first hunt in Africa with Game 4 Africa in the East Cape , hunting with PH Wik. Had a outstanding hunt and took 12 animals. Wik has the best game eyes I’ve ever been around; we saw between 150-200 different Kudu bulls over the hunt. The only animal I did not get on my “list” was a warthog, because we were being really picky after shooting several not on the “list"
Accommodations & food were top rate (mostly ate game by request, Springbuck is my new favorite game meat). They also own a butchery in town so the meat/trophy care was immaculate. Watching the animals in the irrigated field over a beer each evening was relaxing. I will say that our Montana beer is superior to South Africa beer....
This was my first guided hunt, having only hunted public land in the mountain states; so I had some concerns about high fences or “tame” animals. All the properties we hunted were quite large, and the bush thick – fences were a non-factor. Can't wait to come back, though the bank account says otherwise....
