“Every one of these seem to start with WOW! This was my 4th Safaris with DVS and again, they exceeded expectations. My adventure started in the Free State. I was able to harvest a Springbuck slam and a Blesbuck slam with a bow, along with a magnificent red Lechwe and two successful night hunts. All this was completed with a day to spare. And managed to spend more time at the Citadel camp with my group of friends.
At the main lodge we concentrated on recurve bow hunting. I was able to harvest an impala, warthog, gemsbuck and big old blue wildebeest. Some of the night predators eluded me again but that’s the reason for another trip to SA.
I can’t compliment the hard work and hustle of my PH, Stian, enough. He wore me out with multiple hunts every day. We also ate several late-night suppers after long sits in the dark.
The staff, food and accommodations were all top notch as usual. I’ll be back.”
