Thought I might share some other photos with here instead of piling on the other want to buy thread further.

I think you can see by these that this rifle is old: around 1900 or so I am told, but still has a good bore, shoots fine and has no serious damage.

The mags I normally use are 5 rounders made in Japan, yeah I know, but original sporting type 5 rounders are a bit scarce so I found two of these and while they require quite a bit of fitting they work fine. Shown also is the 10 rounder it came with, no idea if it was sold with the rifle or not but it works also.

In the one picture after the front sight you just barely make out the seam where the front sight boss is fit to the barrel as a sleeve, I dont know if BSA rifles are like that but I have not seen another like it.

Otherwise have a gander.

Wow! For an old rifle that has some very good rifling. Very nice rifle.

Be kind of neat if I could find the proper hood for that front sight.

Very nice. I’m glad you posted photos of it.

Very cool looking rifle. +1 on the nice bore condition.

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.
