Great news to see the UK opening up soon, as many states in the USA already have. Here in southern Africa we have had a roller coaster ride too, keeping the factory open with half staff, sending others into neighbouring countries to get vaccinated, and above all trying to claw in those elusive sales.
You all have your own stories to be sure, and by all means share them here, it helps. For me I must say my sanity preserver was in no small measure this AH forum, a welcome distraction into something different and enjoyable. Reading of people from out there eventually making their hunts happen, sharing the reports and living It with them. Truly we have something special in this community and the sport we all share, here is to many many happy adventures, cheers!

@Kevin Peacocke as a brit I'm pleased with the lifting of restrictions but feel the stupid public will end up going crazy again like they did over Xmas. During the lock down I got a lot of deer hunting done in the UK as I live in my hunting grounds so to speak. But like you this forum and hunting chums were what kept me sane.
The AH community is without a doubt the most friendly bunch of hunters I have come across online and at meetups.

I’ve been especially blessed to have not been sick, nor lost any loved ones or friends. so many around the world have not been so fortunate. My work has gone on uninterrupted. In fact, 2020 was a banner year in that regard. I know so many people who have had their businesses turned upside down. I feel badly for them. My angst has just been around getting back to Africa for a Safari. Twice rescheduled. A pretty trivial problem in the big scheme.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
Ready for the hunt with HTK Safaris
