There are two volumns both available from midwayUSA and I think they are down to around $10 each making them a very Solid bargain.
These are very short and simple adventures from Mr. Potterfield’s life including everything from boyhood squirrel capers to adult africa safaris and his growing business experiences and more-
Both are easy reading and entertaining. Thoughtful Photographs throughout. My only compliant is that some definitely deserved longer versions of the adventure! Some did not. . .
Would love to buy the author a drink someday and share my appreciated for all he has done.

Mr. Potterfield has been a huge plus for the gun community for many years. His youtube “how to” articles are priceless. A good guy who did well for himself and his community.

Interesting. I enjoy his videos on YouTube ... he makes everything look so easy ;-)

His 'nearly perfect African rifle' was good.

He attends DSC every year. You will always see him walking the floor. Two years ago I believe he was in a wheelchair after falling from a tree stand. I would guess he attends SCI every year also. You are correct he is very famous from his how to videos.

I like the person very much, his gunsmithing advice is spot on, he's a good businessman, and he's a great supporter of hunting and shooting rights.

You mentioned the only time I've wanted to punch him in the face and started screaming at the TV:

His "nearly perfect African rifle" was a pushfeed abomination. I had to put down my popcorn as I was getting nausous watching it. He could have started with a mauser, CZ, or pre-64 action and actually built something of value. In the end, the gun he created would fetch $1200 on GB from a buyer that just wants to own a bigger rifle for his safe collection. (I think he used a rem700 action? Really? Biggest piece of junk action, then builds an otherwise $8000 rifle around it?)

I guess that's why it was only 'nearly perfect'. :(

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
