I killed 2 buff and a klipspringer in Zim last year.
Just got the shipping quote for one half skin, one full skin, and the full klipspringer.
Does this look to be the going rate theses days?

Given you’re bringing home a full and half skin plus heads, that quote does not surprise me. While expensive, it’s reasonable for these times.
BTW, Jeremy Delacruz of Coppersmith is excellent for clearing your trophies at SFO. I recommend him highly.

For the weight and likely the only option being Turkish air via Joberg, that looks reasonable.

Doesn’t seem too bad, it would help to have the size of the crate. It’s that pesky little klippy that made the price jack up. Sounds like a good hunt, hunting big and small!

At least Turkish Airlines is a good option, even when not the only option.

Yes sadly that is about right these days.

heard a couple months ago that Israeli Air may be shipping animals to the US you might want to check on that

I got my stuff from Zim about two weeks ago and it had Qatar cargo stickers on it, and it had buffalo in the crate. I did not ask how it was going to get here so I have no idea how it ended up on Qatar, but they obviously had to know what was in the box? Maybe someone got cheeky and decided to throw a Qatar sticker on there for some reason and it didn't go through them. :A Blink:

It looks like Qatar is the only option for any big 5

I thought Turkish Air was the only option, that's why I was confused when I saw the sticker.

Hi Jon,
I saw your post for the .500 NE cases. Are these all brass or are they nickel plated? Hard for me to tell... sorry.
Thanks,
