What's the best way to ship a rifle to Alaska? Looks like most services only ship to lower 48. Does anybody have any personal experience with such shipment?
I have received long guns to my local FFL in AK via USPS, UPS without any issues. USPS is usually the most economical option but the maximum insurance coverage is up to $5000. So that could be a limiting factor.
Ask the receiving FFL in Alaska how they would like it shipped….
It really depends on location and gun shop preference, best shipping to Juneau may be different than Fairbanks, may be different than Anchorage…. It’s a big state…
That’s one of the reasons many FFL in the lower 48 don’t want to ship to AK, as well as cost of course….
Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!
Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx
I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
