The first is a Shiloh Sharps model 74 Long Range Express. It is a .45-2 1/10. That is a 45-70 for you non-buffalo hunters. 30" half octagonal bbl. Upgraded wood, pewter for-end, steel butt plate, spirit level front sight for inserts, wt 11# 9oz. This is a Big Timber rifle. They are the best. $3250.... $120 shipping (unless FTF) I see that the wait period for these rifles is growing, and that the sights ( the rear sight alone cost $535 many years ago) are out of stock, and have been forever. This rifle has been test fired only.
The Second is a Ruger 77 Mk 11 stainless 25-06 with laminate stock and 26" bbl. It has been fired exactly 20 times. I bought it for an antelope hunt.....and could never draw a tag. It has not been hunted with. Comes with the factory rings. $1000 plus $100 shipping. I see a few of these on GB for $999 low to $1600 high, and none of them in this caliber, many in varmint calibers that are easily shot out. I could not find any marks on either rifle, and they appear as new to me, but will send pics and you may judge for yourself if interest..........FWB
