AH legend
A busy morning on my pond. Had to wait until ice was gone and wind wasn't blowing 40mph. These buggers have already taken out over a hundred trees so it was time to get rid of them.
Well i guess you would call it spot and stalk. The first one was by the opposite bank at 225 yds and the closest gun was my .300 win mag. It is a very small moving target the top of their heads while swimming. The other two were at sunrise on the closest bank at about 20 -25 yards with my .223. I don't normally get them out for pictures but since i had time and they were close to the bank it was simple.
With three of them going at it you are lucky not to be living on open prairie by now.
Hornady DGX?
Actually my .223 ammo is hornady 50 grn. I don't have to worry about a charge from a beaver or coyote...
Patience Grasshopper.............They hide really well.
..........
Good job! They are terrible especially in West Texas where there are few trees.A busy morning on my pond. Had to wait until ice was gone and wind wasn't blowing 40mph. These buggers have already taken out over a hundred trees so it was time to get rid of them.View attachment 274083
