It is now time to start shopping for a scope for my soon to be arriving THREE SEVEN FIVE and then I will order the rings through Alaska Arms. I am going with a Leupold and I am going to do my best and try and buy local from one of the handful of LGS but I am picky and they never seem to have the "scope" I want at the time I want it.
I am planning on a lower powered scope, and I have always wanted one with the firedot reticle. I am not going to try and blow smoke, I am never going to hunt in Africa, I do hunt bear, moose, whitetail, caribou(younger days) and elk if I ever draw. I bought this gun just because I wanted something with a little more power and range for moose hunting, I would expect all my shots to be well under 400 for the 99% of my hunting shots, most are 150 yards or less. Which low powered Leupolds are you mounting on your THREE SEVEN FIVES or should I say "running" for the younger generation.

I just sold a leupold scope that would have been perfect for this rifle a few months back.I got it on a turkey shotgun I bought barely shot. This gun is going to be a big brother to my .45-70 grey laminate/stainless for short range work.........WM

I use a Leopold 1-4. Alaska Arms rings are good btw. I have them.

If you aren't facing of with an angry grizzly I think the 2-7 is a nice size scope.

I have a VX6 2-12x42 illuminated on mine. But a 1-6 was a close contender.

I’m putting a leupy 2.5-8x36 on mine. Seems to be perfect for it.

That is one of the most popular and effective scopes on a 375. I sell quite a few.

If you’re looking for a fairly low cost solution, I’ve got a leupold VX Freedom 3-9x40 30mm with firedot on a muzzleloader that I’ve been thinking about moving over to my .375 H&H.. I’ve been very impressed with both the clarity and durability for the price…

I have a 2.5x8 on my business rifle, what I had at the time. Now I have a 2x7 needing a home I'd druther have there but not bad enough to make the change and resight in these days of ammo scarcity.

I have a couple 375’s with 3-9x40 VX-Rs with fire dot, I like that set up a lot, got one with a Swaro 1-6 that is really good, had the 1-8’s been out then it would have that.

I have a similar conundrum. Vx3 4.5 to 14. On my 375 hh way to much scope. Anyone try some sort of red dot.

Another great option is a Leupold VX5 HD illuminated dot in 2X10X42.

Running the same except non illuminated. Good optical range and eye relief for that rifle set up

In my opinion that is going too far the other way. Nice to have a scope on a 375 with up to at least 4x. The caliber really has about the same trajectory as a 30-06. Think of being on a dangerous game hunt and a 60" kudu standing 250 yards away with no good opinion of getting closer... the caliber is capable if you can make the shot. Many might do it with a red dot, but a scope might be nice....

Do you have any cull hunts available? 7 days, daily rate plus per animal price?
