HS precision has release a stock for the Hawkeye and mkII rifles. I got mine for my Alaskan yesterday.

Very nice. I was never all that happy with the design of the stock on my .338 WIn Mag Hawkeye. Shame I just got rid of it, this could have been a game changer. The gun didn't fit me, it beat me up quite a bit.

Looks very good. I ordered one today. I went with the grassland camo paint and a Decelerator on this one. It will probably go on an Alaskan 375 or 416, or possibly a 300 or 338. I currently have another Alaskan 375 in a McMillan Hunter stock and an Alaskan 416 in a McMillan Classic.
I have HS Precision stocks on two M70's, a 300 Win and 416 Rem. I certainly have no issue with these. Up until this time, I have been using McMillan's on my Rugers. I am anxious to try the HS Precision. They may become my preferred Ruger stock.

I almost went with the McMillan but for the wait time and if I remember correctly the forearm was a little longer I decided to go this route instead.

I think either HS Precision or McMillan will more than serve my purpose. I have several of the McMillans, mainly because I have several re-stocked Rugers. And older M70 Classics with 2-piece floor plate types and aftermarket 1- piece bottom metal that McMillan will inlet for.
The wait times for McMillans can be Long !
I think the HS Precision is a quality stock and very glad to see them as options for the Rugers. Yours looks very good.

The Ruger Hawkeye stock mold was broken for quite a while. A few months ago, I fractured the wooden stock of my Hawkeye African .375 while shooting it from my Lead Sled. As soon as I discovered that HS Precision was making the Ruger stock again, I ordered one in Sand. Wait time is about two months. On Christmas Eve, I ordered a Spruce & Black for my .338 and another Sand for my .416. I was very impressed upon receiving the first one. The second two have mercury recoil reducers.

I have several HS stocks including one on my 375 and one on my 7 Wthby. Great story is that have been tested.

Good stocks for heavy recoiling rifles. They’re not the lightest composite stocks but that’s not what you want on 338, 375, 416 anyway. Nice lines too.

Will you remove the forend sling swivel?

i think it will work quite nicely, yes I will be removing the front stud and putting a blank in it.

I like how you laid it on the bed for the pictures...like gun porn.:A Way To Go:

The funny thing about that is, I’m away at work so I kept bugging my PH buddy who is staying at my house for show season to put the new stock on it and then my wife is the one who took the pic and sent it to me.
Wait....whaaaaaat?
And you didn't post a picture of your wife doing a selfie with the rifle?

Just messing...
Nice looking rig.
Let us know how it shoots with the new stock.

Very nice. I got mine all bedded up but have not had a chance to shoot off a good rest to test accuracy yet.
It will be awhile before I bed and shoot. I would not hesitate to shoot without any bedding. Available time and below Zero are my present issues. This is "an extra rifle" so no rush.
I have to decide on the scope going on it. Quiet possibility will be a Kahles 1.1-4x24mm, but undecided.
