Trump worried about that farm vote he my lose because of tariffs. It's all about polls and votes. I do believe if reelected you will see some form of gun control. I think he will sign some sort of trade deal before election and declare a great victory. His cheap food policy may get him some consumer votes. Cheap corn eventually means cheaper meat.

To quote the great man: "SELF DEFENSE IS NOT ONLY OUR RIGHT, IT IS OUR DUTY." This may seem to apply only to handguns but it can also pertain to long guns. Any firearm can be used for self defense.

Yup. He signed the Firearm Owners Protection Act of 1986 which gave up new machine guns for basically nothing. Post-Presidency he supported and actively campaigned for both the Brady Bill and the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban.

He was no friend of the 2A

And Hillary would looking out for you rights? And, what exactly has the "Old" Republican party done for the 2A? What did Regan do for gun owners? Or Bush, or the other Bush? No hearing protection Act, no national CCW reciprocity, nothing. At least Trump's kids trophy hunt.
