Rifle Rigby Big Game Pre War 416 Rigby

I am looking for a pre-war or even 1950s 416 calibre Rigby Big Game rifle. I know they are quite rare.
thanks

I believe @Tokoloshe Safaris has one in his collection. (Or more?) They are worth new car money as you’re aware, but they are a remarkable investment-grade rifle and relatively few were made and fewer survived.

do you think I can write to him directly about the rifles?
Better yet, you could book a hunt with Lon Denny of @Tokoloshe Safaris and see the subject rifle!

When one uses the @ sign with the user name such as @alessandro.illuminati a notification is sent to their user interface (tool bar) within the bell icon. Is Lon isn't hunting and if he internet is working, he has seen your post. Send him a PM. He's a great guy! I've talked with him about hunting via WhatsApp calls.

Here would be one.

I was also interested in it and sent a message to the seller not later than today. He has not answered until now. I think that the rifle is in poor condition and that's why the price is imho still too high.

A belgian Francotte post-war 416 on a non-magnum action is not in the same stratosphere as a pre-war Rigby on a true magnum mauser action. $30,000-$60,000 difference in value.

In Europe, the market for such weapons is very low. This rifle seems to are on sale for years.

How much should this rifle cost?

Out of all the different color variations of Impala the black Impala just stands out with its beautiful pitch black hide.

Impala is one of the animals you will see all over Africa.
