Just a quick check in with the collective as to whether it is possible to reload 458 Lott ammunition with 458 Win Mag dies.
my reason for the question is that I am contemplating adding a Lott to the family and already have 458 Win Mag reloading dies or would I need new dies. Not a big problem if that is the case. My gut feel said all would be ok as they are both parallel cases with only a slight length discrepancy as with 38 special and 357 magnum but I would prefer confirmation.
thanks

Did that for years starting back around 1996-8. Never any issues. Told my Zim PH that in 2000 and he followed up and may be still doing for all I know.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
