Qatar to Zim!

Qatar announced new service to directly compete with Emirates. They will serve Zambia and Zimbabwe with the same flight much like Emirates does. This is just one more option for those of us traveling to these destinations and puts price pressure on that big airline that flies out of ATL!

Stick a fork in that big airline in Atlanta's flights to the Dark Continent and if their scheduled start on August 1 flight was on Draftkings, I'd bet against it.

We are booked for our August safari on Qatar. We, @CAustin @YancyW , will fly DFW-DOH-HRE. It will be nice to get directly to Zim without the overnight and gun permit in RSA. We waited a while to book this because they took forever to release all the fare classes. We have great connections with short layovers But enough time to check out the business class lounge. @TOBY458 will fly from ATL and meet us in Doha.
Getting there is part of the adventure and I can’t wait!

Where do you gonna hunt? I‘m flying to Harare in September, stay there overnight (which I hate) and fly to Bulawayo early next morning. Pity there isn‘t an international flight to Bulawayo.
