The devastation of the various lockdowns on the global economy is beyond imagination. No one except the absolute most wealthy among us will exit this unharmed. While there is much suffering from the consequences of the Wuhan virus and perhaps even more so from the reactions of various governments I fear the hunting/conservation economy may be the hardest hit.

These ventures are supported exclusively with discretionary income. A luxury if you will. For many today there is nothing left in the household budget for such expenditures. Now is the time for we as hunters/conservationists to step up as best as our individual circumstances allow.

If you are financially able call that Outfitter or Professional Hunter that you have a relationship with. Place a deposit, however small, to reserve that trip you were always going to take. Make a donation to a conservation organization. Buy yourself, or a friend, or a family member hunting or fishing gear that puts money into state and federal wildlife funding through the excise taxes generated.

Now is the time to act. Don't wait until it is too late to save our way of life from the Wuhan virus and the politicians. I am not wealthy by any means but I have been blessed with hunting memories that are priceless. Our children and grandchildren will thank us if they too can have those memories.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
