I have noticed that I hear no stories of people taking pump action rifles to Africa. Why is this? It seems to me that a Remington model 760 or 7600 in .30-06 would be a fine gun for an African safari. Is there a reason why I never hear of people taking pumps on safari?

I hope I put this in the correct forum.

The reason why no pump actions? maybe very few hunters that come to Africa own one/ or they own other guns?
I have been guiding for 22 years now and can only recall one hunter that ever brought one over and that was maybe 14 years ago.
Nothing wrong with them I guess, and it is legal to bring one.

Pump action rifles are big thing here in the eastern United States. Is is surprising that people don't bring pumps over to Africa.

I believe from what I read that SEMPRIO from Krieghoff is going to change that forever, had anyone tried yet?
the reverse pump action rifle?

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
