Well boys, over a year ago a dear friend of mine gave me a complete Winchester model 54 action with a standard bolt face....so the 275 rigby project began with Ben Piper over at Soroka rifles. My day was definitely made with these progress pics!

Love the tear drop bolt handle.(y)

before it is too late, consider a rechamber to 280 rem.
do anything a 7x57 will do and more, and the action should take it.
bruce.

It is going to be a very nice rifle. Sometimes enough is just right!

Classic Calibre . My father in law has one built on a Pre 64 Winchester Model 70 action. I am curious. Can yours fire both 140 gr and 170 gr bullets ?
My Father in law gets good results with 170 gr

My current 275 rigby is a number 1 ruger from the recent Lipseys run a few years back, to be honest it likes 140gr accubonds so much I haven’t tried anything else!

Beautiful rifle mate.

I had one built last year and haven't looked back, i love that thing and will never part with it.
