Will an RCBS rock chucker supreme work for a 500 Jeffrey ? I need a new single stage press, I use a Dillon 550 but the tool heads arent compatable with the 1" dies. What press do y'all use for the big safari cartridges?

My Rock Chucker will reload .470 NE which, I think, is longer that a .500 Jeff.

Roger that. I thought the rock chucker supreme would be fine but i wanted to double check. It has a 4" opening which should be fine

I have a Hollywood senior press. 1952? Best press ever. Very precise press. Does up to 50 bmg. They come up every now and then on eBay and garage sales

Yes, the RCBS Rock Chucker does it.

I reload my cartridges 500 Jeffery with it, and also my cartridges 577 Nitro Express and 600 Nitro Express.

I found a good deal on a 50BMG Lee press a number of years ago and it works on all the longer rounds.

Thanks guys. I bought the Rock chucker supreme, they had it on sale at midway for $150 and I got a 1-1/4" to 1" Redding adapter that said it works with the RCBS press. It comes with a 7/8/14 adapter.

I've started using a Lee Cast because it would take the fatter die bodies and impressed so far. (Currently only using to deprime brass but good for that and can't imagine it not working with bigger stuff, very solid).
