Happy Friday AH Crew!
I'm on a flight from Austin, TX to Phoenix, AZ right now. I'll be attending the Colt Collectors Assn Annual Show in Scottsdale (https://coltcollectors.com/2023-show/) this weekend and wanted to see if any AHers in the area would like to get together at the show or for a meal. My best friend was supposed to join me for this trip, but unfortunately had to drop out last minute this afternoon.
I've heard good things about Scottsdale and have some great looking restaurant reservations, but have never been to Phoenix or Scottsdale and don't know what else to do besides the show. Fine + vintage firearms, great used/vintage/sporting bookstores, historic art/antique galleries, history and art of the American West, fine knives and leather goods, etc. are some of my favorite ways to blow time and money on a weekend. I wanted to visit WL&M, but I emailed and Dan told me they'll be out of town until this coming Tuesday 10/10/2023.
I would love to get together with some of you! Please respond or PM me and we can coordinate. If you can't make it out on Saturday or Sunday but have recommendations, please let me know. If I don't hear from you, have a great weekend!
