Opinions please:

I have two crocodiles and one hippo collected in Mozambique that I want to get back to the US. The hides will be tanned into leather. And the skulls will be plain bleach skull mounts.

Should I have the tanning and final skull preparation done in South Africa? Or, should I have either the tanning or final skull preparation done here in the US?

Thank you in advance for your thoughts and experiences.

I can't really help you much. But I do have one concern which may not be valid. However I thought that hippos were banned from import from Mozambique. They're not from other countries, but I thought they were from there.

Have hunted Moz twice, and both times had the work done in the States. And be prepared, just getting stuff back to the States will take a year plus without taxidermy evolved.

Would you consider selling just the Barnes 235's and 250g TTSX's?

I hunted elephant with Luke Samaris in 2005. It was my fourth safari and I tell you he is a fine gentleman the best. I got the opportunity to meet Patty Curtis, although never hunted with him but enjoyed our conversation around our tent in the Selous. Very sad for a tough guy to leave this world the way he did. Let’s pray the murderers are caught. I hope to see Luke in Nashville.
