Morning guys
I'm after a little help with adjusting the open sights on my .375 H&H Chapuis side by side.
I've just developed a new loading that regulates well but I'm finding that the point of impact and point of aim are not coincident. Point of impact is two inches to the right of the point of aim; elevation is about right. Distance is 50 yards. I've had a friend shoot a half dozen rounds and had the same error so it's not down to my technique - many things probably are but not this one lol.
The foresight blade has a grub screw locking it in place but this extends into a tapped hole in the blade mount base and gives the impression that this was drilled and tapped to hold the foresight blade in place and prevent any movement and free adjustment.
I can probably resolve the grub screw issue but could use some counsel on how best to resolve the degree of adjustment necessary to correct the poa/poi issue.
Thanks in advance
