I wanted to pass on a website I have ZERO affiliation with. I bumped into the site looking for a product and was amazed at the number of reproduction military garments that are brown or green, cotton, and look a bit classic. I ended up purchasing the lightweight zip up smock (jacket) and was happy for the price. Looks the site might be an option for someone looking for some traditional safari like clothing.
