Not Your Usual AH Offering 6.5 Grendel

I have a 6.5 grendel with Aero upper/lower, geisselle, UBR, 22" JP barrel and bolt/bolt carrier. Really accurate set up. This is a well put together very accurate rifle, also an absolute perfect set up for a youth hunting rifle. I have 200 pieces of unopened brass and a set of dies as well as some 130gr hornady eldm. I can set you up with a complete turn key package if you wish. Seems I find myself more interested in these wood and blued beauties these days plus getting ready for my first trip to Africa so sacrifices must be made. Looking to sell or trade. $2000

No, it's a JP regular steel barrel with black ceracoat. 22" kind of. Medium contour, I would say it's about .80 at the muzzle maybe a tad smaller. It has the red JP heat dissapator under the handguard

6.5 Grendel is a fantastic round, really performs much better than one would expect. This is plenty for deer, hogs and other easy to kill stuff.

Could you get to 2600 with those 130 eldm's? I would guess you can get close with that 22" tube.

I would say so. My other was an 18"and I was pushing 2500 with it. I have had really good luck with CFE223 and if you have a dillon or any other progressive press that stuff meters awesome.

I love CFE223. I bought a few jugs before the craze, wish I bought a lot more.

I don't need another AR in something other than 5.56, but this is really a nice setup.

I'm hoping some body is interested. Id like to sell or hell I would swap for some rangefinding binos, partial trade on some good African styme shooting sticks. Reloading stuff in the 375H&H or 458 lott, 460 weatherby flavor. Good low power variable scope. Stuff like that

We switched from .308’s to 6.5 grendels for hog control. Much lighter package and plenty of punch for the hogs we’re shooting. Mine is a custom rig on an AR platform much like what is being offered here. Mine shoots 1.5” five shot groups at 300.

They are dandy rifles and a great caliber really. Even with a shoet barrel they are impressive. Running a rig like this with 2 uppers. A long one and a shoer one so you can swap up depending on the mission would be an ideal set up. Even ab 11" barrel grendel has enough to get out to 7 or 8 hundred yards for target shooting purposes.
