Time for some things to go, the duplicator is on the list.

See it here in this thread: https://www.africahunting.com/threads/setting-up-the-north-star-gunstock-duplicator.28310/

So if any US members are interested, send a PM. It will come with a pickup load of stock blanks (Figured maple and some big walnut slabs) and lots of tooling. Some patterns. Checkering tools, checkering cradle, and more stuff.

I think shipping out of the US would be cost prohibitive: It is big and weighs about 2000 pounds.

I looked at the attached thread. The use of this machine to make stocks is amazing. I hope someone who is already a wood worker will acquire this machine! Good luck selling it sir.

Yes I hope a serious stock maker will step up and purchase this machine.

Lots of horsepower, easy to use, very accurate, you can duplicate two stocks at the same time. Or make a left hand stock from a right hand pattern or vice versa.

John, what is the asking price?

$10,000 US picked up at my shop. It is big and heavy and the stock blanks take up a lot of room. I will disassemble the duplicator when a buyer arrives with transportation. Original manuals and information included. This machine cost over $15,000 US in the 1970's.

Road trip Gizmo!

If I had the disposable income.....

Wouldn't need to make and sell too many stocks to make up that initial investment

Sounds like a great deal, I wish had the talent to make this pay off!

Now , just to find a cheap boat to get it here
