To this point, bread-and-butter items like the 300 grain .375, 400 grain .416, and 500 grain .458 need to be reliably available. It’s entirely reasonable for the more uncommon combinations to be done in occasional batches, but big game “standards” need to be predictably on the shelf. Anyway, just a thought.

Thank you for your message. We are currently reviewing which calibers should be prioritized in our production, focusing primarily on customer demand.

Although some calibers are requested less frequently, we are making efforts to maintain stock. As our production is based in Sweden and our customers are located in different countries, demand for specific calibers varies.

We understand your frustration at not being able to find the caliber you need, and we hope that by 2026 we will have more stable solutions for our product range. Unfortunately, in any manufacturing process — regardless of the field — economic factors driven by customer demand always play a key role.

I understand where you’re coming from. I’m not into marketing or supply-and-demand theory, so my view is fairly basic: unless a product is actually available, how is demand supposed to grow? People need to be able to use it and buy it when they need it—not go on a wild-goose chase to find some.

One of the main reasons a particular brand of bullet is gaining traction in the large calibres is simple: availability, price, and proven dependability. I’ll be honest—I prefer NF SS over monolithics in my double, in line with the manufacturer’s recommendation, as they’re generally easier on the barrels over the long run. But when the choice is restricted, what are you supposed to do? Sorry for my rant if I come across that way.

Once again, thank you very much for your message and for your patience while waiting for my response. Yes, that is correct — we manufacture the .366 caliber in a 214 grain bullet.

Yes, this product is ready for shipment to the United States. However, unfortunately, due to the changing trade situation and recent changes in shipping conditions and customs duties for goods entering the U.S.A. over the past month, we are still awaiting approval from the relevant regulatory authorities to ship our products. We hope to receive their positive approval as soon as possible.

Is reloadinginternational not a reliable website? They’ve been solidly stocked that I’ve seen. I just haven’t had the time for reloading so I never ordered north forks. Sticking with my old steady load.

No they have been out of stock of a lot of calibers.
.358” has been out of stock of all bullet weights for some time now. Midway also completely out, and North Forks personal website completely out.

As a side note if they read this i definitely would like to see more 225g .358” caliber SS as I have gone through maybe 10-15 boxes doing testing, load development,and hunting for a handful of my Whelen rifles and only have a small inventory left for actual hunting. I’m on a few notification lists

They are phenomenal bullets so I hope they are restocked soon

@North Fork Bullets @Ekaterina Lobach North Fork Bullets Like everyone else, I’ve been looking for your bullets and can’t find them anywhere. I’ve also left voice messages at the Texas based phone number given on your website (806) 252-7933 and nobody answers, nobody returns my calls. You’re making it very difficult for people who want to do business with, to actually do business with you.

I’m specifically looking for .338 bullets in 225 grain weight but would try 240’s or 250’s if that is all that’s available. I’d also be interested in .375 & .416 bullets if they ever become available.

Any good faith ETA of next bullets landing in the US is appreciated.

We talked back in February about timelines for reasonable expectation on .510 semi-spitzers and tooling issues NF hoped were solved after connecting with potential supplier at shot show. So I know just like with Swift and Woodleigh, businesses in manufacturing have supply, tooling, and other production bottlenecks and even emergencies at times. Moving between locations, especially countries, can prove smart in the long run but problematic for the immediate timelines. Some get it. This isn’t a rant or ramping up to rail on anyone.

I’d say the fact that folks are bitter and grumpy that we can’t find what we want and need from your product line says your product means something to us, and anytime we find something that works, and then cannot find ample supply, we get grumpy or worse.

I would respectfully ask that you please share a realistic timeframe for the next anticipated shipment of bullets to the US, don’t need a list of types or calibers, but just general good faith estimate of when NF will ship what it can to US distributors.

At least giving folks (myself included) a basic understanding of a timeline I think is respectful to your loyal fanbase and those curious about trying your bullets. If folks have no idea when they may expect to see them on a shelf, they will start looking for alternatives and when they find one that works, as a group, I’d say we stick with what works, especially if we can find it when needed. That said, as a group, I’d say we also like what we like, and for those that prefer NF, unless real immediate need, may use what they have on hand and not start tinkering with new loads if they can reasonably believe more will arrive before they really need more on their loading room shelf.
