For sale, 50 count of North Fork bullets (from the Philomath, Oregon factory) of 416 caliber, 430 grain Cup Point Solid (CPS) bullets. The CPS bullets penetrates deep like a solid but with a larger permanent wound channel. By adding a shallow cup to the front of the bullet, North Fork has created an "expanding solid", ideal for up close tough game. Would be quite the "spanky" bullet for Cape and Water Buffalo.
I bought them hoping to load up with my 416 Taylor brass, but the Taylor is a short-action style cartridge and the 430 grain CPS bullets needed to be seated too deep to allow enough powder load (Alliant Reloader-17 in my case). Ideal bullet for 416 Rigby, 416 Remington, etc.
