Hello all,

I have been browsing this site for awhile off and on. However all the useful information and hunt reports have made me take the plunge to fulfill the dream of hunting Africa. I have booked with @Nick BOWKER HUNTING SOUTH AFRICA for June of 2024. It is going to be a long wait.

Welcome to AH! The wait for your first trip makes it all that more special when you finally go.

Hello TheRealHorskin,

Khomas Highland Hunting Safaris of Namibia, welcomes you to the greatest forum on earth.

Nick Bowker will no doubt see to it that you have a wonderful safari.

When your day finally arrives and you eventually return home again, I shall look forward to your hunt report.

Best Regards,
Velo Dog.

You Sir are going to be very pleased, I have hunted with Nick twice recently and am planning number 3 as we speak. Check my hunt report from first hunt and hope to complete hunt report 2 soon. He makes everything happen for your benefit. I was in the second group to experience the new lodge and we were discussing over dinner why we chose Nick. The other couple in camp the husband had come before and booked a normal hunt but ended up extending while there for 20 plus days. I forget the exact number of days, but he was in a very different socio eco status than me. I will not mention his name, I don’t have permission. Nicest couple you could ever meet, but, back to why we booked. I stated website answers questions I didn’t even I knew I had as a rookie in Africa and could not find a single bad review. I felt I had answered questions truthfully and completely. The other gentleman stated and I quote “No BullShit” unquote. The most articulate and succinct answer anyone could deliver.

@USN Oddly enough I had spent a lot of time reading the hunting reports and your's, @Hogpatrol , and @Trogon definitely helped make the decision for whom my first safari would be with. I had it narrowed down to 3 outfitters and the photos of the game taken and the rave reviews really helped make the scales tip. After a quick chat with @Nick BOWKER HUNTING SOUTH AFRICA on my background and what I wanted to accomplish along with his response time it made me feel warm and fuzzy. I let him know I wanted to book, he gave me dates that he was available, I was in touch with Gracy Travel and flights were booked. We even discussed what I had for guns and what my preferred rifle was, he gave me suggestions for that rifle and I decided I would use my medium bore option instead. I can tell he cares about the animals and his clients. Now I enjoy the wait.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
