If it were not for AH recommendations (RedLeg and others) I would never have known about the fantastic Kramer horsehide holster I am presently enjoying. It is hard to describe just why it fits so well sitting, standing, drawing, reholstering--but that is the whole point...YOU GUYS knew it was the best. Man, am I ever going to start researching your recommendations for other gear. Despite its cost I feel like I saved money on wasted lesser products. That probably could be said for other gear up needs--just go ahead and get the best the first time ala AH experienced recommendations. THANKS, GUYS!

A few years ago, I bought a Kramer MSP paddle holster for my Walther CCP and absolutely love it. There is just something about a quality leather holster that is so much more pleasing than kydex. Yes, leather costs more and takes a bit longer to get, but I think it's worth having at least one really nice holster for your EDC or your favorite sidearm.

Kramer MSP in horsehide. MSP stands for Michigan State Police as they commissioned Kramer to come up with a design that plain clothes officers could use and easily remove when getting into a car. At least that’s what I recall from reading on their website.

Kramer is the only pistol leather I wear…

I’ve got a holster I purchased new in 2005 that literally has been carried everywhere from the jungles of Brazil to the snow drifts of Finland to the streets of Beijing… was worn for roughly 250 days a year for 3 years straight in every climate imaginable… and then used as a daily wear holster for CCW for about 5 years after that… that is still as good as the day I bought it…

All stitching still intact… leather hasn’t stretched or deformed… no fading of the dye…

Simply an excellent product

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.
