Need A Little Help, Browning/Sako .308 DOM

I have a Browning Safari Grade .308 pencil barrel with the Sako action/ made in Finland, that is going up for sale soon. Serial number 9277Z8
I need a little help with the DOB. From all the research I did so far I "assume" it is a 1968 gun. I took the action out of the stock and the metal is perfect so NO salt.

The problem is, some of the reference charts show the Z as a Sako barrel/action as a 1969 gun. I would appreciate it very much if one of the Browning experts could verify the year.

Looking in the back of the BLUE BOOK it says 68, but seems like their should be more numbers. Being 8 is after the z '68 seems correct. I have a book of Browning codes but cant remember where I put it. If I find it I will double check.
