Sorry I could not attend the DSC meetup but I did the attend the convention for Thursday and Friday. Went to it to finalize my 50th Birthday present to myself. I am really excited that I signed with Omujeve to hunt

It is a community hunt for elephant thus the dates are not entirely set yet but to say I am excited is an understatement. This is a part of Africa I haven’t seen yet. Just bringing my kreighoff 500/416. If I need another rifle for longer plains game shots then I will borrow one.
I hope to fly into Botswana and see Vic falls and some of the parks as well.
As always the wealth of knowledge on this site is amazing thus if anyone has any tips, must do’s in the area, or other advice please send my way. This will be my fourth trip to the continent and I am more excited for this than the first. Damn AFRICA is addictive.
