Scagel type knife, hand forged from 52100 steel by my good friend Rodrigo Mulero of 2G Knives, in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.

15cm/6in blade, Ironwood handle, Sheridan style sheath.

Sorry, convex grind makes it impossible to photograph without all kinds of reflections.

Nice

Nyati, yet another fine knife to add to your collection.

My son mentioned your unique way of displaying a knife collection. How about posting a picture of it here?

Sure, I´ll do that tomorrow, need some sunlight

My best knives are displayed in a coffee table/display case, in my office at home.

The five knives on the right are hand forged by three friends of mine, the five on the left are production knives which have been customised at the factory, by having different handle materials, laser etched African motifs, and my name somewhere.

In the center is a Scagel type hand forged folder with elephant ivory scales, and my initials.

Nyati, I like it, you may just be "on to something here."

Is that an analog only stereo in the background? No digital doohickeys?
:S Cool:

Yes, 40 years old Akai, with reel tape recorder and below my collection of about 400 LP´s , Jazz and classical music.

Some nice ones there Nyati. Top left interests me as I have some impala horn to work with or is it made from filed buff horn to resemble impala? Nice whichever way it is done

Here is a closer look of the knife

It is basically a Muela Kodiak, 8 units were made for hunters and PH´s on my second Safari. The material used is ram horn filed and polished.

The manufacturer liked the result so much, it´s now on their catalogue.

Thank you for the close up. There are some very nice details seen with the closer look. I do like what has been done with the guard.
