Cleaning out a bit of my collection to fund other pursuits. Prices include shipping from my local FFL. Message me for more pictures or with any question. Rifles are located near College Station, Texas

Pre 64 Model 70 Alaskan 338 Winchester Magnum, all original including the recoil pad. I had it professionally bedded to fix a small crack that had started in the stock. Trigger professionally tuned to a crisp clean three pounds. Many boxes of ammo available to the buyer including Nosler Partition 250s by loaded federal. $2000

Pre 64 Model 70 Westerner 264 Winchester Magnum, stock was refinished and aftermarket recoil pad added prior to my ownership. Trigger matches the 338, crisp clean 3 pounds. Multiple boxes of basic 140 corelokts available, the rifle shot them consistently in an inch or less so that's what I stocked up on. $1400

Classic Stainless Model 70 sporter, 270 WSM basic 2000's control round feed model 70. Nothing special just a great all weather rifle. $950

Only trade interests would be nice Weatherbys and control round feed RUMs.

Nice rifles, and I'm curious, what does "Westerner" mean in Pre-64 Model 70 parlance?

I believe the Westerner was the 26" Barrel "model"

Cross listing these on 24HCF and guns international, first come first served.

That’s correct, the Westerner had a different barrel length. It was a marketing ploy to charge a little more.

@woodsman1991 I’m also in CSTAT. Let me know if you have any other Pre64’s you’re cleaning out. I’m about to go through my collection and start moving a few rifles as well.

These are the ones I'm selling for now. Hanging onto my pre war 375 and supergrade 270. They're just shooter grade guns and not near as clean as the above two.

Looks like my prices are a little high given the current market. Let's try $1800 for the 338, $1250 for the 264, and $800 for the 270 WSM local pickup. If you want shipping, we can figure it out and I'll get estimates. Ammo, scope mounts, and scopes are available with purchase of rifle(s), will make buyer a good deal...

id be interested in the 270 when you decide to let it go! And what part of the country are you in for face to face deal? thanks

Can you please clearly label which pics belong to which gun?? It seems a little mixed up! Also, what statements would you like to make about the condition of the rifle Bores, if you please?

First three are the 338, second 3 are the 264, third three are the 270 WSM. Bore on the 338 is clean, no cracking, typical Winchester rifling chatter. 264 has mild fire cracking but still shoots into a group between 1-1.5 inches depending on me more than anything else. The 270 is pretty clean and sharp, no cracking. If somebody is interested, they can pm me for my phone number and I'll text them bore photos and anything else they want to know. Prices reflect condition. The 338 is gorgeous and all original minus the stock bedding. The 264 is nice and clean but non original butt pad and has seen more use. The 270 is clean and has also seen some use.

Those were very fair prices. Loved my Westerner but unfortunately I shot my barrel out.

Thanks, I loved my 264 enough to build a custom one on a 300 H&H action to run longer bullets with a faster twist. Hence why I sold the Westerner.

270 WSM is still available. Comes with 20 pieces of premium nickel coated brass.
